Professor Dr Christopher Balogun Lynch
He came from Sierra Leone on a boat during the Windrush. He did his A’Levels via correspondence course. He worked as a porter in a hospital and at a market. He won a scholarship to Oxford, became Assistant Registrar to the Queen’s Gynaecologist, a founding father of Milton Keynes Hospital who created the Cancer Charity, Myrtle Peach Trust and was responsible for the hospital becoming a teaching hospital and he is an inventor whose invention saves the lives of women globally.
